I'm back... well sort of...

I'm here in Denver now and I must admit it has not been what I had imagined... Oh well. It has only been a few days and it has gotten better so maybe it will get GREAT with time! Tonight I finally ventured out... I haven't dared to do it because of fear of getting lost... Which I still did a little but I made it back to where I'm living and that's all that counts right? I went out to the temple and the tulips are in bloom and are beautiful! It made me happy to do it even though I had a hard time finding the road to get to it... Maybe that's a metaphor for my life I don't know... I have been having a hard time staying awake at work so I'm going to go to bed now but I'll post a few pics from moving and the temple.

Nevermind...

After getting on an anti-biotic it turns out I just had another ingrown toenail on the other side of where he fixed it last time... Whatever... It's also my last day here at the Department of Health! I've been in the building now for about 6 years!!! It's hard to believe I've been here that long and that I'm actually leaving... but I do love Colorado and have a good feeling about moving there!

Cellulitis

I have had ingrown toenails on my big toes since I was younger and had them fixed in October and November. Well one started looking a little black so I called my podiatrist's office and his MA tells me I better come in... So I go in, he thinks I have some build up and files it out and tells me to start putting lotion on it... So I wake up on Saturday and my toe is killing me! It looks red and looks like it's getting ingrown on the other side but I know that it's not... It doesn't get better and yesterday I showed one of my co-workers who happens to be an RN. She thinks it looks like cellulitis so I decide to go to the Dr this morning as it is potentiall a life-threatening infection... There's definitely an infection but I have to go back to the podiatrist tomorrow... The other Dr thought I might have to have my toenail completely removed... I don't think I could handle that!!! So here I am trying to get ready to move to a different state and now I have to deal with my toenail... I'd rather have an ingrown toenail thank you!

2 weeks!

In two weeks I will be in Denver!!! Stay tuned for more (I know that nobody is reading this)
