New Nephew Logan Marcus Olsen!!!

Logan was born on May 4th, 2009 at 11:59 PM via emergency cesarean. He weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz and was 21 1/2" long. The cord was wrapped around his neck three times causing him to be in severe distress. There was also some sort of infection (I'm still not sure what kind and I don't think that Phillip and Anna know either). Logan's heart was very weak when he was born and he had fluid in his lungs that would not go away so they rushed him to the NICU. They decided he needed to be in a higher level NICU and transferred him to a different hospital. He has made little improvements every day and today they took him off the oxygen so he is now breathing on his own! He's also able to be breastfed now! HURRAY!
