Week Fifteen

I figured it out(the week that is)! Admittedly it wasn't too hard since I weigh in every week and they give you a weight tracker. I did miss two weeks though since WW was closed but it didn't seem to negatively impact me too much, I lost 4.6 lbs in those two weeks. My leader asked me how I did it and honestly I have no idea since I ate what I wanted on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. She asked if I worked out a lot which I said no to (because I didn't) but I do have a pretty physically demanding job. I am constantly breaking a sweat there (my apologies to my coworkers, the parents, and small children I work with). I have almost lost 30 pounds! Wow! I'm only 5 away from having a normal BMI again but I would like to lose another 20 pounds. I have definitely decided I need to work out more though because I keep picking up every cold virus imaginable! When I die, my first question will be: "what was the purpose of the cold virus?"

No photo this week because I forgot until after I took a nap and then I'm a horrifying sight... I probably look pretty close to the same as last week.

On to other things besides weight loss. I need one more referral letter to apply to graduate school. Anyone want to write me one? I think referral letters are slightly ridiculous anyway but whatever, everywhere requires three. So three I will get (eventually). The deadline to apply to Colorado State was the 5th so obviously I didn't make it in time. They weren't my first choice anyway, but nice to have a back up I guess. I still haven't completely written my personal statement but I at least have an idea of the angle I'm going to take and I've written parts of it. Definitely working on that more this week. I was finally able to get my transcripts sent from SLCC so now all I need is that other referral and my own statement. Almost there!

I was able to make it to the temple last Monday. The Salt Lake temple is one of the few temples open for a little while on Monday mornings so I went on my day off. I barely made it in though. I definitely misjudged the amount of time it takes to get down there! And I also didn't take the construction on North Temple into account. Next time I will take a different route. This week I will probably try to make it to the Jordan River temple. It's the temple district I live in and it takes less time. Not to mention, way more times to choose from.

That's it for now. I'm hoping to actually accomplish these things this week! It WILL happen!
