Week Twenty-seven

I seem to be on a trend here and not necessarily a good one... I put on another pound this week. One more pound (a little less than that actually) and I will be back in the overweight category... I was complaining to my brother about this so today when we were lifting weights he decided I needed more high intensity work and made me do intervals on the rowing machine. I wasn't sure if I would be able to walk afterward but hopefully this will help. I also skipped on the pie for dessert tonight and had a WW ice cream. I know it might take a little while to stop gaining weight since I just started lifting weights but it's still frustrating. My brother did tell me today that he could see some definition starting to show in my legs so I guess that's a plus. I also deadlifted 110 pounds today, another plus.

I also had another great discovery this week. I had seen this product online before when I was craving peanut butter, and a lady at WW suggested it to me but I went with something different. I went to Amazon to order the other product, and it was out of stock EVERYWHERE. I decided to try the other stuff, PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter and ordered the kind with chocolate. I decided to throw some in with my whey protein shake and see how it was. It was FANTASTIC! I've kind of been craving more all night! It does add another point but it was super tasty! My little brother even liked it and he hates mostly everything. It was $7 a jar so it was a bit steep in price but if you're looking for a lower fat peanut butter alternative it's pretty good.

On to the graduate school thing. My applications were mailed super quick and I got email responses from both schools stating they've received my application. Unfortunately one of the schools requires a supplemental application which means more essay writing... Bah! Oh well. I guess they want to make sure you're committed to going. I should hear back from the other one pretty soon. Stay tuned!
