Week Forty-five

I'm a day later posting because I drove home from Colorado yesterday and ended up having a fever last night... I NEVER get fevers but I could definitely tell that I had one, even before the thermometer confirmed it. When I woke up this morning, I no longer had a fever but still didn't feel great. I went to work anyway due to the fact that I had the last two days off from work and am going part time next week... I need the money!

Anyway, week forty-five I lost 0.6 pounds. Not quite to my goal yet, but oh so close!!! Hopefully really soon... I would like to be able to stop paying for it.  And reaching my goal will be awesome...

Visiting Colorado was AWESOME but a bit odd... I kept thinking "I can just go home" and then had to remind myself that I didn't live there anymore. And truth be told, I'm glad. I have moments from time to time when I wonder if I would have done things differently or made better choices, maybe things would have worked out and I could still be living there... But after visiting again, I'm glad I don't live there anymore. I learned a lot while living there and I don't think I'd change it but I'm grateful to no longer be living there. Visiting is awesome though and I still have several things on my list I still need to complete.

Here are some pics:

I was able to do a session in the Denver temple on Friday and it is BEAUTIFUL! One of the prettiest temples I've seen!

With Mike, Amanda, and one of Amanda's friends in Fort Collins on Friday night. They somehow talked me into doing a "V is for VISTA" pose...

With Amanda and Sophie at a barbecue in Denver on Saturday night.

We decided the above self-taken photo was not good enough so had someone take this one: (although I think the one above is pretty cute)

Amanda and I went on a brief (we figured it was maybe 6 miles round trip) hike in Northern Colorado. I believe this was called Horsetooth Reservoir. If you look at the top of the mountains, you can see some High Park fire devastation...
